A Taste of "The Bad Stuff"

This year we are featuring live Mariachi music and colorful, tall shot glasses by local glass artist Mad Art Studios.

Your $75 ticket includes a keepsake shot glass of your choice*, Tequila & Mezcal tasting from The Bad Stuff, appetizers, live Mariachi music and glassblowing demonstrations.

$50 "Designated Driver" tickets are available (includes all of the above minus the tastings).

A portion of the proceeds and in gallery purchases benefits Feeding San Diego.

The Bad Stuff by Maestro Catador Felipe Soto Mares.

The Tequila is The Bad Stuff and they haven't named the Mezcal yet. You will get to taste something that is new and not on the market. The tequila is from Jalisco and Mezcal from Oaxaca.

Maestro Catador FELIPE SOTO MARES earned his Catador (Sommelier) status at La Academia Mexicana del Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico in 2005. Mr. Soto Mares received the designation of Maestro Catador (Master Sommelier) in 2008 by conducting extensive educational tequila tastings & seminars and being appointed the Director of La Academia Mexicana del Tequila for California, the first designation offered outside of Mexico. Currently, there are only a few Maestro Catadors in the entire Tequila Industry.
